A New Friend

I want to introduce you to someone I have met recently. She is a brand new blogger, and I've been helping her get started. It's a nice feeling to be in a position to help someone else figure this out, especially since people helped me just a few months ago when I was getting started. Go visit Peggy. Vacation Picture of the Day



This is a redwood tree in Big Basin State Park, where we camped. It is taken at an unusual angle; from the inside of the tree. The tree is hollow and yet it is still alive. This tree burned a number of years ago on the inside. The resilience of the redwood trees is simply amazing! They remind me of some people I know.
