Still Here

We've had a busy month. I need to stop apologizing for not posting and then claiming that I'm going to live up to my best intentions of blogging several times per week. Every time I do that, something hits me. Like getting called in and working 65 hours in 6 days. If not, then something else. We have had new arrivals, and some departures. Today a pair of lambs left home, but they were sold to a neighbor 2 houses up the street to be his foundation for his new flock, so that is nice. We can visit, and they will have an excellent home. We also had a day when three animals died all on the same day. Dolly, Evita, and Star's moorit ewe lamb. We were all very sad. Today (March 2, I mean) we had triplets born.

Aren't they cute? Jitterbug seems to be taking good care of them. They are all bucks. One solid black, one black and white, and one tri-color, and all with wattles. The kids are thinking pack goats.

I will post later about completed knitting projects (there have been a few). The latest one, LeeAnn, is the shawl that you requested. It's nice for an easy, no thinking required, project. I need to start a more complicated one too so that I can switch back and forth.

And with that, I'm going to have to call it a night. I am not getting enough rest, and it is catching up with me. All this week I've had the munchies, have felt so incredibly tired (well, that's been more like a month or so), and now my muscles all ache, and I can never get warm (which isn't that unusual for me), but the kids don't think it's cold in the house. And it's back to work again tomorrow.
