Here's the part that I think took me the most time.
(I'm finally getting around to finishing that post I saved as a draft ages ago).

Borrowed the questions from Nurse Knitty , from the brand new Knitting Wendys Webring. See the webring added down at the bottom of the page? All I can say about the webring is it's about time somebody organized all of us knitting Wendys out there.

1. IF YOU COULD BUILD A SECOND HOUSE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE?

My second house would be in Stavanger, Norway. Maybe not right in town, but somewhere in that area. Maybe next to the ocean, like my cousin's house - it is so beautiful there. Since we're dreaming, I would also need a way to get there when I want to. When I'm not there, maybe some of my relatives over there would like to use it. Sharing a 'hytte' or cabin is not uncommon. Neither is having a second house, for that matter. Or renting out your primary dwelling to someone else when you go on vacation.

2. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING?

That will probably vary from day to day, not to mention seasonally. I like to be warm, and in the winter I can't manage without my hand warmers. Currently, though, I really like the little black short-sleeved sweater that I just found, and a long, flowing black dress that it goes with just about perfectly. The dress is the one I'm wearing in my profile picture - the one with the shawl.

That was the answer I wrote when I worked on this before. Now my favorite would be the green dress I bought with Angela when we went to The Dancing Crane, in Salt Lake City. And maybe the green shawl I just finished knitting maybe a couple of weeks ago (as of now - July 11 - it wasn't made yet when I started this post).

3. THE LAST CD YOU BOUGHT?

I don't buy a lot of CDs, so it's been a while. Must have been these three (I think I got them all at once): and

4. WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING?

That varies, since I work all shifts. I don't naturally get up early, so more than a couple of days in a row of having to be at work by 8 a.m. gets difficult. About once a week I work graveyard, so the night before I stay up late and sleep as late as possible. I naturally would wake up later and later each morning until I end up skipping a day, so rotating shifts actually works out well for me.

5. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE?

Um, maybe the oven - I like baking - even though it's hot right now.

6. IF YOU COULD PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I already play recorders, flute, Irish whistle, and a little piano. The instrument I always wanted to play is the violin, and I have one, and I just need to arrange to start taking lessons.

7. FAVORITE COLOR?

I've always struggled with this question, as I like most colors, especially in combination, but if you pin me down I would say green. I've been paying attention more lately, and have found that it's not just any green - I like an off-green with other colors mixed in. When I get my camera uploaded I'll post a picture of that green dress and green shawl, and you'll see. Black would come in as a second favorite, at least for a color I like to wear.

8. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SPORTS CAR OR SUV?

I don't need a spots car. SUV's are more practical for me in general, since I have kids to drive around. But I'd sure like a car that gets really good gas mileage. Stilll, I'd rather be able to teleport. Driving is not my favorite thing, and I'd love to be able to get where I want to go without transportation time and cost issues.

9. DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE AFTERLIFE?

Yes.

10. FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK?
The one that comes to mind right now is

11. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?

Spring. That's when winter ends. It's also when the baby animals arrive.

12. IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Hmm, I guess teleportation. LOL.

13. IF YOU HAVE A TATTOO, WHAT IS IT?

Don't have one. Do scars count?

14. CAN YOU JUGGLE?
I can juggle two objects pretty well. Three get difficult, but sometimes I can manage.

15. THE PERSON/PEOPLE FROM YOUR PAST YOU WISH YOU COULD GO BACK AND TALK TO?

Farfar. That's what we called my paternal grandfather. I wish that I had appreciated him more and gotten to know him better and learned more from him when I could have, but I never really seemed to have the chance. I think he would have been a lot more interesting to me if I had been able to spend time with him as a teenager/adult, but we moved to Spain when I was eleven, and I only saw him maybe four or five times after that. And it never occurred to me to try to make an opportunity to spend time with him. I'm so jealous of my cousins who grew up near him.

16. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE DAY?

Easter, I would have to say. It's in the Spring, and I like the emphasis on renewal that comes with Easter, on more than one level.

17. WHAT'S IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR?

I drive a pickup truck. To be precise, an '82 Found OnRoad Dead truck. There's no trunk, but there is debris from hauling hay in the back. A luxury car to me would be one quiet enough to hear the radio when driving at highway speeds.

18. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SUSHI OR HAMBURGER?

Sushi. I don't eat meat, except for fish.

19. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FLOWER?

Sunflowers, in any variety. That was always my flower. I also like daisies quite a bit. Hollyhocks and marigolds are pretty cool flowers too. Of these four, daisies are the only ones that are not a good dye plant. Sunflowers grow wild in abundance here, and we have hollyhocks. I had daisies at the old house, but not here. I can't grow marigolds if my life depended on it. I guess they just don't like me.

20. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?

Does chocolate count? Other than that, homemade sourdough pizza with lots of veggies on it.
