More Babies
Padmae is Amidala's lamb, Amidala being Ashley's ewe. Dala was born on Ashley's birthday a few years ago, and Ashley is very attached. We are particularly impressed with the white belly spot. White splashes, particularly white feet, seem to be a theme this year already.
Carol claims Evita's little ram, and is calling him Obie. I think his pink nose is really cute.
Unfortunately, we lost Holly last week, on Wednesday. She was fine in the morning, and found dead in one of the sheds in the afternoon. I wonder if she got caught in a stampede. She was the sweetest, most beautiful little lamb, and even seemed to like being handled. It seems like some babies just are somehow too good for this world, and it is a privilege to know them just for a few days. We really miss Holly a lot. It was a good thing that we were able to welcome Padmae on Thursday, and then Obie Saturday morning. I keep thinking he was born yesterday, since yesterday was my first chance to go out and see both of the new babies. And then I kept forgetting to take the camera out until it was getting dark today. The pics with their mamas are too dark to show up.
Isn't it cool the way animals' eyes reflect colors in the dark though?

Dolly's red eyes almost look evil though, don't they?
Knitting
Yeah, that's right. No, the plastic one isn't knitted. Angela gave that one to me for Christmas. The others are though. On a knitting spool, and stringing the beads takes a lot longer than the actual knitting. I need to get some good beading needles.
Miscellaneous
Can you see my weather pixies? I haven't been able to for weeks, but I'm told that some people can see them. I can't go to the Weather Pixie site either. Computers are so strange! Well, I'm not removing them because they show up for some people. Explanations and advice welcome here. Can I just throw the computer out the window? And if I do, will you buy me a new one?
